2004: Site Update History

Year of the big move. In early 2004 PSO Archive said a fast good-bye to Geocites and hello to unlimited bandwidth. A very nice fellow, rodenta1031, whom I'd met in a YIM chat room offered to let me have webspace, with full FTP (File Transfer Protocol) access, on his own personal web server. This was an incredible off that would have been really stupid to have refused. PSO Archive was already at this time out of space on Geocities, and back then GeoCities was limiting bandwidth to a meager 2MB per hour transfer. Meaning it would have taken a visitor to PSO Archive five hours to have seen the whole site back then.

There are only five updates documented for the year 2004. There may have been others, but I wasn't really trying to keep a record of them then, so it's very possible that some have been lost to time.

PSO Archive has joined The Phantasy Star Ring, a web ring.

Three more scans have been added to the Articles section.
Picture Index #3 is completely up! The pictures in Index #3 are among the first of the indexed pictures to only have a date/time stamp without a caption. This is due to the lack of time available to me.
NEWS from E3 (5-12-2k4): SEGA announces new Phantasy Star game(s?)!
No real details available at this time except this link to the website which has very little info. The teaser trailer briefly displays "Phantasy Star 2?" and Phantasy Star V?" along with a lot of concept art. http://phantasystaruniverse.com/

Currently working on several site related projects including the long over due Picture Index 4. Every bit of data on PSO from ODCM is now scanned and in the articles section.

A Chat Symbol section has beeen added to the archive! The archive is pleased to announce the completion of a Chat Symbol section. This section was made in a joint effort with affiliate PSO website administrator mona of Spoiled.Uboot.
